Hong Kong (Part I)

This is my second visit to Hong Kong and this time round I had my DSLR with me rather than a compact point-and-shoot camera I used in my first visit. Beside better equipment, I brought along a set of knowledge and experiences I've accumulated over the years :)

I've always wanted to capture something unique of the cities or places I visit every time and to me Hong Kong is very unique because of its densely populated city. Hence, I would like to start my post with the architectural photos of Hong Kong.

These high rise residential flats, apartments and condominiums are everywhere so you can hardly miss. I found those located in Choi Hung Estate (彩虹邨) are more colourful ! Besides, I tried some long exposures in broad daylight too !

And some landmark shots.

These are all the photos I'm sharing with you for now. Stay tune for my second part for more ! Let's end this with another popular landmark in Quarry Bay !

Night Singapore II

Over the last 2 years, I've been taking a lot of night and long exposure shots around Singapore. There were a lot of events going on such as i Light Marina Bay, Sound of IKEBANA, Singapore Kite Festival and many more. Thankfully, I can see some improvement compared to my first post of Night Singapore 2 years ago. Hope you like the following photos which were taken quite recently and feel free to drop your comments !

Tanjung Aru Beach, Sabah

It's good to be back here again to the place where I grew up... my hometown. Tanjung Aru beach is one of the best compared to beaches around Kota Kinabalu. It's only 10 minutes drive away from the city centre.

We went here to enjoy the sunset while eating snacks bought from the stalls at the beach area. There are many food stalls and bars along the beach so usually there are a lot of locals spending their weekend and picnics there.

Let's meet some locals here !

They told me that they were building a........ castle ! O.o?

Lastly, the real shooting of sunset ! The sun set quite early here compared to Singapore.

Hope you love the sunset as I do ! Kota Kinabalu still has the best sunset ever !
