Food has always been one of my favorite subject since I started photography. There are many blogs out there posting about foods ranges from food reviews, critics, promotions and etc. As for myself, I like to photograph food as a record or a checkpoint that I've tasted the food in that particular place and share it with others if it turns out good. In terms of photography, it's simple. In my opinion, a good or successful food photo will tempt and makes you feel like eating it when you are looking at it. So here are some of the good food that I would like to share. Please also comment on how I can improve the photos..

This week's: Night Singapore
We need light to make a photograph. Night does represent a more challenging time to take photos. Therefore, you may need settings like high ISO and large aperture to shorten the exposures if you are shooting handheld. For myself, I would prefer a tripod. With a tripod, you will have a choice to use long exposures, low ISO (e.g. 100) and a smaller aperture to shoot nightscape, light trails and many more.

Lunar Eclipse @ Singapore
This is the first time for me to shoot a moon. It failed at the few first tries but I realized that the moon was over exposed every time so I switched to Manual Mode. I tried to decrease the shutter speed and it worked !! So these are my shots which I had reduced the shutter speed to 1/4000sec with mid ISO at 800.
I'm not sure whether these are the correct settings so I hope everyone will comment and share your opinion to improve the photos !
